Deadline for attending list: November 12th.
When the list is finalized, the hotel cost will be set and money collections can begin. And yes, you can pay me at the convention, but I prefer prior. The room deposit was already charged for 1 night at the hotel. ;p
See first post for current costs and payment PM requests for reduced rates.

@ Seority: wow that is awesome! I didn't know they had a bowling alley and a go-cart track and mini golf too... thats insane. As far as the kitchen, I just wanted to let you know too that I don't plan on taking over the entire kitchen for the weekend. I basically wanted to make one meal for everyone, Epic Meal Time style, because I thought not only would it be fun, but my way of contributing something to the group and to my friends. And you can help too! Every Epic Meal needs a clan of sweaty, meat-lovin' hooligans to make it. Specifically, I was hoping to make this recipe: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCROpchUjQI&feature=channel_video_titlefor a few reasons. For one, its big, but it's not too big. We could probably finish it all with no leftovers. It also looks less expensive than some of their other meals. Plus, we wouldn't have to stick to the original recipe (maybe ditch the panchetta and add bacon instead?), and with just a few tweaks, we could make this Whicker-friendly. Swap the tortelinnis for "bowtie fighters" and serve the shredded cheese on the side, and there ya go. I was going to keep my plan a mystery, but I think it would help everything come together to inform you guys now... Then you and Gen could take the kitchen over the rest of the time

One question though, who's bring the food TO cook? o-o

If I made the death star, then I would bring all my own ingredients for that.
And no, of course you dont HAVE to cook, but I think everyone does enjoy your cooking a lot. :3 We wouldnt mind at all!
Ill look into more Epic Meals and see if theres anything else that would be realistic to make that everybody would enjoy eating.... We could do a variation of the Maximum Mac + Cheese episode.
Plus, I just remembered something... Dave might appreciate some potato leek soup... its super easy to make and really filling. Plus it has leeks, which is Miku's primary fuel source ~

I'd rather stick to stuff I already know how to make, but I'm not cooking anyway, so it's alright. ^^ Nice suggestion though!

Actually you might not have to miss it, because I dont think Ill be making the deathstar for this con. I still plan on doing it, but its not the mose widely appealing item. Perhaps too much meat for some.
Hows this for an epic alternative? Taco buffet, lots of meat and your choice fixins, guac, sour cream, cheese, salsa (+ con queso), veggies, refired beans, rice, and possibly more. To make it epic, we'll also make some bacon weaves. Eat your share on the side, or get epic and use a section as a bacon taco shell. (hard shells and burrito shells also available)
And of course, help will be needed with this meal too in terms of prep... Feedback from everyone on food choices would be apprecited!

Talim Tacos. Yes~
-----
Last few days to join up for the attendee list.
I mentioned to a few people that a Walmart Supercenter is ~2 miles away or an actual grocery store is ~4 miles into the Dells. So food is available for purchase near the resort if necessary.

hey, i have a question. well, more than one i guess. i've heard that you get waterpark passes with the room, and i'm just wondering: 1. how many we get 2. if they cost extra and if so how much they are

if we say 8 people, I believe it'll be 8 passes. but it has to do with how many people we say will be in the rooms. I know there was a $10 resort fee, but I don't think it was per person.

i'm not entirely sure how many passes we get. i've heard the limit is 4 on the daisho forums, but that's just heresay. I think the passes are 35 bucks separately though?

I was told and the hotel's room webpage states: "Admission to Wisconsin's largest indoor waterpark and the Zambezi outdoor waterpark (seasonal, weather permitting) is included for each registered hotel guest." I stated for 10 people in the room when it was reserved. When we check into the hotel, I'll let you know if "registered" is more in depth like needing actual names.
Otherwise, the All day pass (10 am - Close) is $34.00 and the Evening pass is $25 (5pm - Close). The not-included Indoor Theme Park is $19.95 per day (Friday - Saturday 10:00am - 12:00am).
If I am to pay for go-karts, I surely will pay for go-karts. Watch out for 'dem banana peels and red shells though!
