Ok, writing from Mom's laptop in a hotel... in WV. Why not VA (where we were heading for an extra job until Sat or Sun)? Cuz upon us leaving Mom's final local-ish job in the Mooly Mart here, we found the hard way that my car's brakes were practically gone. o.o The brake lines had sprung a leak. More like a gush, actually. So, yeah, not easy to stop. We didn't wreck or hit anyone, luckily, but still... bleh.
So, car's in the shop, we're getting a very late start, and this extra job will pretty much only pay for the repairs rather than get us any extra income. Bleh. Just what I needed when I'm already in bad financial shape.
And now they want us to do the work in a way we hadn't planned, which might make it even tougher.
Blaaaaaaaaargh! This is why America needs more bullet trains like Japan. Car ownership gets so troublesome and expensive. @_@

Well that is not good! I thought you'd rent a car for that trip. I never expecteded you'd drive your own. It would have been cheaper. Brake jobs are not that cheap. Specially like that.
At least Andrakon got into World Of Warcraft now and I might join him soon. We need an escape from this fucked up world. Going to moolymart yesterday made me realize that.
There was this one chick that had two kids and stunk sooooooooo bad I could smell her from the other register! it smelled like baby puke and liquor and some kinda car smell or something it was so gross I almost threw up! then we brought home the deli chicken and it tasted like PAM! That stuff should be illegal. You know that shit has jet fuel in it? Also has bispehenol A and C8! ewwwww!!! Basically we wasted like 8 bucks in food and I felt bad but it was totally unedible I will demand my money back when we go back that was totally disgusting! And people should have some heigyne bad hygyne is my like top 5 pet peeve. If you smell you shouldnt go out! Gagging at even the though of that nasty skank is making me sick.

Who all is stressed out from all the BS that is going on lately?
I am.
I am having alot of nervous breadowns and I am scared an nervous all the time. I have never felt so helpless. I am soooo tired of all this BS we need Obama to be president and we need to get out of this mess before it is too late. I feel everyone is down more then ever and ever so confused. This country has been torn apart and we need to put it together. We need to restore the nice vibes everyone had becuase they used to be great. people nowadays are paranoid, depressed, distressed, and scared and sad. We need to come together again and heal our wounds.
People are turning away from the things that used to matter the most to them and even questionin thier own faiths in everything. People don't even know themselves anymore it seems. I have gone though so much the past years I feel like I should have a full head of grey hair by now. I am left wishing and hoping we all come into the light and come together. I am sad and struck down but I am not going to be for long, we are not going to go out like lightning on a lost wolf in a cold dark forest.
We must try to do whatever is in our power to help everyone. I fear for the young people, I fear for the troubled, I feel that our strength has doubled and we need to defeat what is holding us down!
If all hell breaks loose let's all go out with a BANG!!!! If we go down we will take the assholes with us!

*sigh*
Anyway, another update: Good news, we got the brakes fixed, for around $160 for partial line replacement (though the rest might go soon, so corroded due to age, wish Dad had looked at them when we had it on the lift when I was first buying it... if I'd have known what brakelines were I woulda noticed they were corroded and woulda talked the price down to get them immediately replaced for the difference...)
Bad news, the radiator started leaking. @_@ At the top, so BarsLeak wouldn't help, we had to keep pulling over and refilling and letting the car cool down. The temp gauge kept sitting at Normal. The pump appears to be working, and the fan works but too briefly, so it could be the thermostat, or the radiator itself. We got a hold of a good sounding mechanic though, quoted us a much lower replacement price than Dad said would be reasonable, so I'll see what happens when Mom comes back from some work.
My sleep schedule's so messed up that the past several nights I couldn't sleep but a few brief winks, so Mom let me have a few hours nap while she started on the store. She'll come back soon if all goes well, we'll go eat, then we'll both work more. They'll work on the car tomorrow morning while we work more.
I woke up though cuz this "Quality Inn" isn't very quality. Outside access, zero soundproofing so I keep hearing people walking around, talking, watching tv, traffic, etc. And also, none of the doors can be closed without extremely hard slamming. Trust me, we tried everything else. They HAVE to be slammed. Not just ours, everyones. On all floors. So... yeah.
And the fan/AC/heater won't stay running. It'd help drown out the noise some if it'd just stay on when we select Fan. But it won't. The maintenance dude said he'd come fix it (which I dreaded a bit since that'd wake me up) but he never did come. Good for my current sleep, bad for our future sleep.) We'll see if we can poke him again soon.
I came to this job with the understanding that I could do open-scanning at Ukrops, but priorities got shifted, so I have to do stressful undercover list work at Mooly Mart instead. I shall be busy busy busy. Then tired. So, don't expect many more entries for a while. Hopefully all this work will at least help pay off the repairs. Sorry if I might have said that already, I can't remember and too tired to check. Gonna lay back down.

Ok, radiator fixed, another three-hundred-some to the pile, blargh. Oh wells... Mom was once more nice enough to put it on her card, I'll have to keep owing her... >_< But... at least, since we have the excuse of a poor car with being late on our work... we decided a small diversion might be ok... cuz we heard on the news just yesterday that Obama would be at a rally here in Roanoke, and then today (totally by chance) we stopped for lunch right across from the civic center where he just happened to be giving it and... yeah... we HAD to go! It was THERE! ;D Ended up having to drive winding miles to get to the shuttle area cuz all the lots were full for a wide span. But oh well. I'm not gonna get all political here, but I'll say that for standing around listening, it was still fun! Now I'm all squeeing and so is Mom. :3 We feel like we can take on the world! (No matter who's side you're on, nobody can deny he's an energetic speaker  ) We're negotiating an extra night at the hotel so we have one more day to work here. We woulda needed it anyway. At least now we've got some extra energy to work with. ^_^ It was a neat, random, spur-of-the-moment thing. |

Poor poor sammiez! That's why I am weary of buying used vehicles. I am glad you got to see obama! Sweet at least that will get your spirits up for a while. Still trying to get me a WoW account and have mine linked with andrakons but his is still trial and he needs to upgrade to full to refer me so we cna have an awesome link together to get bonuses with our characters and .... the us site has scripting issues! it won't do anything when we enter the damn cd key! When we finally get into this game is acting like a _____..... Oh well at least it will give me extra time to pick the best character.

Grr this is maddening..... I tried to get YT working in IE64 bit for like 2 days, well turns out adobe does not have any 64 bit browser support (you must run it in 32 bit browser)! WTF?! how is stuff going to advance if the asshole companies don't support it. I am sick of 32 bit we need 64 bit. and if you don't know anything about it that system you just got with 4GB+ ram will be useless to a 32bit OS... well you can only use 3GB of that ram witch if you want to run more apps at once or future apps and games that is going to amount to nothing but headcrab zombies. It pisses me off how people will not let xp32 go they are clinging to it like a lost puppy to a bone. Most people don't know bout server 2008 or server 2003 I guess and more people should know about it. Use it and use it for 64bit mode. also running a 32 bit OS on 64bit hardware causes alot of problems and often times restarts unexpectedly, apps not loading all thier features... and the most irritating thing I've had..... when you have too many IE or FF tabs nothing else seems to want to load and PS does not load right. it loads half the UI and quits loading the rest. Even though I have 2GB or and and not beyond the 3GB limit. They have been saying the same thing since version 7! that the next version would support it.... but noooooooooo they have to be lazy about it. Phew, just got back to my apartment. Went to the parents' last night though first cuz Mom needed to get home. Spent the night there (which as usual meant almost no sleep  ), but at least my younger bro was obviously happy to see me, we took a night walk then went driving to town, late night fast-food and shopping since the poor helpless males had been out of milk and bread as usual.  All seems fine now... Except that Mom's work schedule for local stuff implies that they think they hired a tireless and insanely fast android, so I'll hafta do my local work then help her with hers the rest of the week THEN start on next week's! No recovery time after all this! @_@ No rest for the weary. ^_^;; Oh and I coulda asploded... o.o Stupid lady at the gas station last night LEFT HER SUV RUNNING while she was filling it up. I told her, "Excuse me, I just wanna let you know, it's really not safe to leave your car running while you fuel up." and she got all mad looking and said snootily, "Well, thank you for your... opinion. But I'm not dead, am I?" All grinning she got into her car before I could protest that the risk is at least elevated and she got lucky. Grr! If she wants to commit suicide by setting herself on fire or exploding, fine with me, improve the gene pool a little. But if it can involve other innocent people around her, including THIS innocent person, that's not cool. It was totally my business, yet she acted like it wasn't. I just hope that if she ever draws the bad card with her habit, that it won't be when other people are around... -_- Anyway, yes, back to work in a little bit. |

Poor poor ZC unable to rest...... I am glad you're back safe and I hope you can do stuff with me soon! I do have a cold though so you may wanna wait a few days to let me recover. I get better, then worse, then better, then worse..... arrrg..... This morning I feel congested but in a good mood. I worked on two retouches and one website! I am gonna level up my WoW char some and them get some good eats-n-sleeps.

I have been so sick and having suck a frickin breakdown it is insane I have never felt so pised off my body demands everything all the time, I cant sleep, I have to pee every frickin half hour, my nose is constantly running, I need water constantly, and all this and my body wont tell it self to frickin rest. I think it is the place I live in there are people all round it and no backyard to anchor myself to. Also there's a dirt road that is 5-7 feet behind my bedroom, and it is used alot. The neighbors are very loud and inconsiderate. they rev up thier loud ass cars and trucks all day long and they are generally emitting the worst vibes ever. I am so fed up I am crying right now from all this bullshit. I wish the damn election was over and obama won and we cam fix the damn problems and the economy so I can move and find a peaceful place to finally get some good rest. My body cannot calm down at all when I get good sleep finally someone knocks on the door, loud noises from cars, or the cat or my overactive bladder that wakes me up! I am unable to get more then 4 hours of sleep anytime. This is wearing on me and I might need to go to the hospital to get checked out if this gets any worse.

And now of all things I had to get a new monitor becuase the other one is d.e.a.d. it won't even turn on half the time. I got an LG and its nice it has good contrast ratio. We were so good finacially off that we could purchase a monitor using emergency funds! That is one thing I am feeling good about and at the same time it sucks but i will have it recovered within 2 days. arrrrggg.

Been gone for awhile figured this would be appropriate spot to say why. Had a cousin die of breast cancer two weeks back and was in chicago. Also some one ran over one of my kittens that week. Was locked out of my relatives house for hour and a half on halloween because everyone else was at 2nd house on lake. It was a good week don't get me wrong just bad stuff is more interesting to others. Lets see I'm extending vacation in march to full month now first 15 days in Germany visiting a friend then next half in Sweden with my girl. Which reminds me swedish is a fun language to learn. Trying to form a 4th band. Oh and today my closest thing to a grandma drove her self 20 mins to hospital while having a heart attack she is 94. haha Its scary how crazy that short old lady is. She will hopefully be okay.

Jeez... and you still call that a good week...?  I don't know what to say... All those losses at once, locked out... That's terrible... Really do hope the cool-old-lady will be ok.
