Where would we show them? Inside the hotel room...or just some convention room when its not in use?
btw...Has anyone gotten the ACen postcard yet? I filled my registration by paper, so its the only way I know I'm in. Lemme know when you get them!~ 0_o;

From 5pm to 9pm (times subject to change) on Thursday, May 4th, come to the convention center to pick up your badges so you don't miss a minute of the action! Bring your confirmation letter or postcard and a picture ID to pick up your badge.

Someone ought to email or check the message boards and see if anyone's asked: "Would that mean printouts of our emails if that's all we got?"
Cuz they could mean that; it was the case at Otakon at least.

You'd show your vids in our room. Unless you guys don't want to have your party anymore. I'm not planning your party   As for registering... ususally it isn't a big deal. Just bring your ID and if you want to be sure bring any proof you got from them that you paid. Usually an id is enough. |

 Sadly I won't be able to get my Bubblegum Crisis suit ready for Acen.. So I'm going to make an Elfen Leid costume. I'm going to be Lucy wrapped in the bandages with half the helmet broken off. I had conversations with security and we compromised on how I will tackle this. You guys will see it at the con ^_^ |

Keep me in the lineup in regards to Acen, but I will forewarn you that financially I'm going to be cutting it pretty close. I'm only going to be getting 2 paychecks from now till the weekend of Acen (maybe 3 depending when we leave Friday). And I'm also currently in need to pay for other things like a renewal of my Anitivirus Software subscription, phone bills, gas, and a 5 1/2 month overdue car checkup.
I'm still planning on going, I got my confirmation email about Path of Advent making it into the AMV Competition early Sunday, but I might only have enough cash to meet the entry fee's, hotel cost, and my share of gas back-and-forth. And if something unexpected comes up that affects me financially I'm probably going to have to pull out, although thankfully I dont see something like that coming in my not so distant future.

the following is a list of videos (and the categories they are in) that you should DEFINATELY hang around to see at Acen:
Two For The Road (Romance) - this is an upbeat Romance vid by Jay (Koop). I love it, it's funny, upbeat, and romantic. I highly suggest waiting around at the music video comp for it.
On My Earth (Action) - Brad's (AtomX) awesome action video. When i first saw this i sat in stunned silence for about 10 minutes. It is amazing. It's an akira video, and when it comes on, you'll know it.
Untitled (Romance) - Liz's (Nessie) romance video she hasn't named yet. It uses Ah My Goddess and is everything i would ask for in a romance video.
That's all i can think of for the moment, and i would highly suggest looking out for them because they are all excellent, and use such a variety of styles.
Good luck at the competition, and i hope any and all DZX videos entered come away with something. Good luck guys.

I'm guessing they wont upload the AMVs to the .org until the contest is over? I wanted to check their videos out.  Sounds like it'll be way more exciting than Anime Detour. |
