Just popping in to tell everyone that doesn't know yet that me and Gen will have our own room somewhere in the hotel. So we will be going, but since she has to drive such a longer distance just to get to Rapids, we will probably be doing everything as just the two of us, so no need to worry about regrouping with me and her. (unless we make last minute plans to go to as a big group or something)
So I guess I'll just say... see you all there!
(also, wow, first post by me in like, a hundred years or so @_@ )

Yes yes, I concur with the travel arrangements.
I always get creeped out with highway W anyway.
We don't want to pick up Gau on the Veldt.

Looks like I'll be aiming to meet at Sephy's place near 10am, so we can be to Whicker's and on the road by 10:30-11am-???pm.  Convention. Timez. Noaw~! Hotel monies can be before, at, or afterwards. No matter. Muh Muh MUUUUH. --- To answer a prior question, looks like we are taking 2 cars. Cosplay, packing stuff and taking home stuff requires space that one poor car couldn't contain. Usually. A party van would have been fun, but alas, we have no van of the party variety. But I do have a party car that will Miku while I drive down Miku interstate so I can Miku while I Miku. |

Yeah. We went to Madison. for an anime convention. and did stuff.
And yay for Rock Band competition team thrown together for fun.
Yay for Meido uniforms. Yay for Baconator sized gameroom. Yay for caffeine.
Boo for having a cold/sore throat/sinus issues the entire time.
Yay for sunny weekend spent indoors like a true otaku would do.
Yay for civility, yay for lost items being returned, yay for too much choice instead of boredom.

It was fun!
Didn't make it to all the panels I wished to, but all was not lost.
The game room was amazazing, and the rave wasn't too bad, even though it lacked space and variety.
The con was a success I'd say, and we shall hopefully return next year.
One thing I must say, WE MUST MAKE MORE VIDEOS.
I knew the amv videos weren't going to be great pieces of artwork, but it was.... not even worth mentioning. I feel if all of us just half-ass something, it'll do better then any that I saw.
Sephy already has some ideas, but all of us should try to make something. It'll also help us come together as a group again, and add some more fun to cons.
All and all, YAY CONZ!
