The DZXProductions.com Official Announcement

This post is specifically for the announcement that DZX Productions will soon be moving from its long time Geocities home into a more flexible and professional home.

The notion of moving to a true "dot com" in my opinion became truly official when on Friday, September 23 when Sqiky Kleen showed us the fruits of his work when he unvieled to the other DZX senior members (and Waffle King ) the new look of what would become DZXProductions.com.

Needless to say, AltruisticCrono, Archangel Zero , Waffle King, and myself were all very suprised and unanimously accepted it. I think the cummulation of how much we liked it could be summed up in a conversation between AltruisticCrono and myself.

AltruisticCrono - "I wonder how soon he could get the site up."

Sephiroth X - "How soon would you want it up?"

AltruisticCrono- "Now."

As you will all see in time, Sqiky Kleen should get an extremely well deserved pat on the back for what he's done.

No official launch date for DZXProductions.com has been announced yet since finishing touches are being set up along with setting up a server account. Word will be given when DZXProductions.com will be launched though, we promise.

Could it be? After hours of adjusting, tweaking, aligning, copying, pasting, Photoshopping, animating GIFs, spell checking, correcting sentence structure, creating tables, writing bios, drawing plans on paper, and gathering pictures, that the core of the website is finally complete?

Yes.

Aside from the Promised Land, the main pages are finally done. All thats left is fixing a few broken links, and the main pages that make up the bulk of the new DZXproductions.com will be FINISHED. However, the website as a whole is nowhere near complete. Allow me to drum up some excitement for the new page with some new information.

1. Most web hosting allows for web-based email. This means that all DZX members will be able to have personalized e-mail addresses (example: [e-mail])

2. I will be learning Flash specifically for this website. I can't give exact away details, but I can say that the new splash intro page will be replaced with a fancy-shmancy Flash intro. Rest assured though that the site will utilize many more Flash objects throughout, some blatantly obvious, some cleaverly hidden. Which brings me to my next hype point...

3. The new site will be LOADED with hidden Easter eggs. The careful eye will find a slew of hidden content that may make its way into more obvious places upon discovery. For this reason, I will keep the site closed for editing to everyone but myself until these are discovered. Dont worry, I will drop hints if you can't find everything right away.

Also, I have asked Sephiroth X for help on this already, but if AC or AZ can compress some of our older videos for distribution and send them back to me, it would help immensly. Im missing quite a few vids from the archives, and would preferrably like to have everything up and ready for download by the time the new site is launched.
