Are you rich to afford to travel to so many cons or what? with the outragious gas prices and all. wish I had the money to do it. I might make it to otakon I dunno.

*shrugs* I'm an adult with a full time career. I also participate in Artist Alley. At ACen I wound up making about $860. So that usually covers it. I know a lot of people who go to way more cons than I do and they don't even have careers XD AND they make maybe 15-20 costumes.... THOSE people baffle me. It also helps that I live in Chicago. So it's basically the center of the cons. Also, carpooling, sharing a room, and sometimes cheap train tickets/airline tickets help as well. AirTran is great and my friends use Megabus |
