I just finished reading, set aside 30 minutes or so to just read, and I've gotta say...
I like it. For the most part, I found myself really able to visualize things and hear the characters speak. The second scene, at night when...all of that happens...was tense. Disturbing. A hurtling pitch. And that alone was enough to get me wondering and wanting to read the rest. But more than that, Jack seems like a pretty normal guy despite things around him starting to go a little topsy turvy...for a second time.
I'm intrigued. I look forward to the continuation.
