Didja get any prize dude? Crowd reaction musta been great. It definitely took skill to make that combination work against other vids, so that defintely confirms the compliments you've gotten for the vid, AC. Big huge fluffy congratulations. ^_^

Aww...thanks guys.
The crowd didn't know what to do. They clapped at the end, but it appeared that most were stunned (since nothing was like it at the competition).
I didn't get the award medal yet, but it'll be in the mail in the next few weeks.

What a suprisingly fitting name to how the Anime Detour AMV competition went.... Wait a minute... there was a competition? Seriously, no offense to the other authors or anything, but many, MANY of those videos fell victim to the "long, random scenes placed one after another with no fluidity, transitions, timing, special effects, or meaning" syndrome. I looked over at my fellow DZX members during this mediocre display, and I could have swore that I actually saw AC crying. At least the Comedy videos were inventive and worth viewing, dispite there being so few of them. |

The comedy MVs were pretty good. Wish there'll be more next year. The people around us must have been annoyed. Since most of the videos were really long, we talked most of the time or groaned at missed syncing opportunities.  |

but you won cause the judges actually judged, so we didn't have to worry about fans. The WTF contest was totally fine having the audience judge ^_^ I wish my video would have worked, but I don't think it would have won in the WTF contest anyway
