I guess I may as well put all my current ideas here, so you guys know my mind's not a complete blank at least. My drive for editing is slowly returning, so when circumstances allow I'll be working once more.

Highest priority: my Doom Project track. That is coming first, at least with the goal of noteable progress.

Possible collab project with Prodigi: Will be considering, but I hope you don't mind if my motivation for one of the below ideas becomes so high that I jump into them instead.

Other ideas:

- "Swimming Through the Ashes" - Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children ::: ".45" by Shinedown

This hit me recently as a great character profile song for both Cloud and Kadaj. In following the Japanese description of Kadaj as one of the Children that Cloud had to save, this would be a different take on his feelings, and a familiar one on those of Cloud.

- (no title yet) - Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (and possibly other related sources) ....OR Naruto ::: Wth>You by Linkin Park

Great lyric match for Cloud's feelings for Aeris, Zack, Sephiroth, and possibly Tifa, differing by lines. Also great potential for Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura. Leaning more toward the first choice but second will be considered.)

- "Chronicles of the Unforgiven" (Working Title) - Final Fantasy VII: Last Order, Artwork ::: "The Unforgiven" and "Unforgiven II" by Metallica (A two-part project)

This'd be a huge project, but I've envisioned it for years, even before the latest FF7 pieces were announced. It'd deal heavily with Cloud's past, namely his relationship with Zack, their admiration for and betrayal by Sephiroth, Zack's love for Aeris, the cruelty of Hojo's experiments, and the drive all of these gave Cloud in his battles.

- (no title yet) - Final Fantasy VII: Last Order and/or Advent Children ::: "Alive" by Disturbed

This song immediately brought Last Order to mind, and I started on it but had a hard time... with the added element of Advent Children it might be more possible though, the lyrics and emotions are great for so many aspects of the story.

- (no title yet) - GetBackers ::: "I Hate Everything (About You)" by Three Days Grace

Ban x Himiko. If you've seen the series I need not say more.

- "Ginji's Innocence" - GetBackers ::: "Field of Innocence" by Evanescence (yeah, I know...)

Perfect profile song for Ginji, the hardships he has endured in his life, his path to becoming the Raitei (Thunder Emperor) and the consequences of his actions.

- "The Window Burns" - FullMetal Alchemist ::: "Hero of the Day" by Metallica

Lively, spirited, and emotional study of the FMA storyline and characters, alternating between Roy Mustang, Edward, and Alphonze Elric, as well as plenty of others.

- "Solves All Problems, Creates All Problems" - FullMetal Alchemist ::: "Chop-Suey" by System of a Down

So... many... lyric matches... can't... resist...

- "Metal Lulliby" - FullMetal Alchemist ::: "Smoke" by Natalie Imbruglia

This can be a very different take on Al. What it's like to be a child's soul trapped in armor, having seen the things he's seen...

- "Flip Out Like Naruto" - Naruto ::: "Ninja" by 7 Seconds of Love

The song's easygoing, but the lyrics are quirky enough for a silly little vid, and there's very good action-sync potential at the bridge (EDIT: Wanna hear the song? Check out the Crazy Thread )

Other: I'm definitely gonna do at least one, but maybe several videos to the anime "Tactics". Around Halloween will be the most promising times; this has great ghosts, demons, and other paranormal stuff that'd be a great ode to the holiday. ^_^

Someone has already done my original Ah My Goddess! idea, ("Not Like the Other Girls" by The Rasmus) I hear they did a very good job, but can't see it till I get the time/circumstance to download such a large vid. If it's not as I'd imagined then I still may do it when I have the sources, but chances are that idea's gonna be laid to rest.

Umm... that's all I can think of for now, betcha I'll keep on adding stuff for all eternity though ^_^;; They just keep coming!

Already remembered another idea I had:

- "Scar: Blessed Homicide" - FullMetal Alchemist ::: "Overburdened" by Disturbed

Someone was bright enough to find one of the most perfect characters for that awesome, awesome song... and then totally suck at making the video >_< If nobody else does it right, I'd sure like to. The story of a man who feels justified in his violent deeds, a symbol of revenge, enduring Hell in this life then bound for it in the next...

Edit: Daaang... It'd be a great song for a Sephiroth character profile too.... someone sorta did it with Last Order, it was alright, but there's so much more potential...

After the Hold So Dear remake, I was prolly going to complete my Uta~Kata to "Tomorrow" by SR-71 idea.

I know it isn't on my to-complete list on the site, but its been floating around for a while.

Way too many lyrical similarities to pass up.

I'll actually be glad for some of those ideas to be trimmed down, as there are obviously way too many (imagination too active ) So that SR-71 song, you can have it AC.

...Especially since I just remembered yet ANOTHER idea today when I heard the song it was for...

Alrighty... I dug in and had good luck as well, managed to download the Ah My Goddess vid where the creator used the combo I'd wanted to use... Half-hoping since it had such high scores that it'd be so breathtakingly awesome that I wouldn't have to worry about making it since I have so many ideas anyway...

Can't be denied that the editing level is very high. However, it was all appearance and no heart, soul, or feeling. So very, very much untapped potential. I would have done it almost totally differently. If I were to make one with the same combination, they'd barely resemble each other at all. SO many potential lyric matches weren't pursued, so many atmospheric scene choices weren't taken, so many wonderful intensities and softnesses in the song weren't brought out in visuals.

I'm gonna do it someday after all. Just need the sources... @_@

(I would use the movie and the original OVA instead, /maybe/ some of the series which I have)

At last, I am formally announcing that I am officially working on a new AMV. While some of you know I'm in the process of readying my FF7:AC footage for my Linkin Park idea, that's likely not going to be what comes out first.

I'm doing a bit of a fan-animation to practice for future projects. Not full-rate animation, more like a moving storybook. All I can say is it will be sad. Very, very sad.

If y'all DZXers wanna put it on my project page, for now just put Title: "Lost Kitten"
Song: "Through Pain" from the D.N.Angel OST (I don't know the performer's name yet)

Yup, I haven't forgotten Wayne (First verse for Naruto, second for Sasuke, etc)

Oh boy, like I needed more AMV ideas...

I have many FMA ideas that I hadn't put up before:

"The Alchemist" by Goldie Looking Chain
"Fifth Grade Alchemy" by Nuclear Rabbit

But now I remembered a big FMA idea I had before but somehow forgot months ago. It'd be a very ambitious undertaking because I'd create my own original story with the existing animation which would take very tricky editing. I don't know for sure what song I wanna set it to, but I'm feeling very strongly for it so it might be my next project after my current Advent Children ideas and my Doom Project track are complete (I can really only have one source at a time on my computer).

I don't wanna give it away since the unfolding story would be much of the ingrigue. I know the story, just gotta find the right song. Which makes it too tricky to ask for help without spoiling things.

So far my best bet is "Lust for Blood" by Gackt, but I'll continue searching for something a little faster paced but with the same dynamic intensity, melancholy atmosphere, and fitting lyrics.

Edit: Hard to find anything better... but Gackt is an acquired taste not all may like... ^_^;;

I also remembered that I had two more FMA ideas... one to that "Gotta Keep 'em Separated" Offspring song (due to a misheard lyric that I'll keep that way ^_^ )

And I remember that I DID have a silly idea, just not what it was... it involved Ed dancin' a jig... Hope it comes back to me.

Edit again: Yay I remember it! Ed and Al's respective seiyuu once sang the first theme song a bit on a radio show or sumfin, and were all silly, and I wanna have 'em lip-sync with it! Yaaay. That'd be fairly easy though, so that might also be close to the front burner. ^_^
