Update... Got a PT Cruiser to try out at Enterprise, it's ok, but I'm concerned about peripheral vision in it so might have to get something else later, we'll see... My poor Pink Panther did indeed throw a rod, so I need a new engine. Not easy to find since the Probe is discontinued. Dad will negotiate with some neighbors who own old part Probes and have the health to install said engines. Meanwhile I've got TONS of work and that's pretty much all I can do the next few days. Boss hasn't answered about extending deadlines so I'll have to ask her again. At least Virginia was really pretty in a lotta areas. ^_^ So I had a tad of fun in-between all the work down there, even if it was only a little. (Oh, and my comp has had a virus for a week and a half now, or worm or something, that screws with my internet and tons of other stuff, none of my four scanners or three firewalls are properly blocking/killing it... hope they find a fix soon dangit! I can't even submit it to the companies if the scanners don't even pick up the source file!  ) |

Not easy to find since the Probe is discontinued. i feel you're pain , every time i get engine trouble with my sunbird i pray to any thing that its not the head gasket again or a rod, ive allready had to do so many repairs on the poor thing allmost 3/8 of the poor car is custom work. >.< i hope you can find a new engine for a good price, some times local junk yards will have a data base of what they have in stock if you havent checked you should its how i find a lot of parts for my sunbird when no one else has them or the prices are just to unreasonable for new parts |

RE: the virus thing, so to safe mode and scan from there. Scan using all 4 softwares and they are more easily able to deal with the threats since the threats don't normally run in safe mode.
RE:the car thing.... That sucks yeah dad told me about that. I would let you use the van but it would need transmission fluid change and we cannot afford to do that. Plus it is not ready for another long trip the van could barely handle the two trips from akron. It is in need of alot of work. Plus Adam needs it for job hunting and stuff. I wish we had a second small car that was good on gas mileage, however the probe we had died as well. That's why I am afraid to get another. I might get a toyota or honda and pay a lil more just so I won't have to keep replacing it.

Well, I still won't be around too much for a few more days, gotta help Mom with her extra assignments so I'll hardly be home n stuff, I keep bumming her laptop off of her. ^_^;; Then I'd like to spend more time with my sis when I can. I need rest and recovery though either way. But at least I now own a '92 Toyota Celica, baby-blue, with a sunroof, cruise, tilt, power windows n doors, and sweet sound system. Reliable make, model, AND year, in gorgeous shape, with impressive mileage considering its age. If all goes well, it'll be a long, happy relationship I'll have with it. :3 Just gotta replace the tires... which coincidentally match my Probe's tires perfectly, so that's no cost, my bro will put 'em on for me and off we'll go!  Been too tired n busy to really let all this sink in... I've cried twice for my Probe but suspect I may a few more times in the near future once things settle down... it was very good to me, unique, full of personality. Having nobody around to talk to, I talked to her a lot. It'll really hurt giving her up... Rest in peace, Pink Panther.  |

Yep that car is pretty good...If you don't want it me and Adam can take it!  LOLz. I want that car now that van we got is a guzzler. Oh well as long as it gets us from point A to point B...... (Thanks tons Liz. :3 ) ----- I'm sure you all have been noticing our distinct lack of ShadowPhoenix around here for a long time. The deficiency has been preying on our health. You know the symptoms: Upset knee, left-pinky-toe-ache, muscular nausea, skeletal rashes, sore hair... But fear not, for he is alive! Exerpt from an email he sent me last night in reply to one he had no time to read: Please let everyone know that I am sorry for my absence, but I have had a huge number of academic and personal issues over the past few months and I have needed to focus exclusively on school to keep my head from exploding (and to keep my scholarship). So of course he's been a busy busy man. Which he always has done entirely too well. But at least he is indeed still there, and once he's sufficiently recovered from his big final battles, will surely join us again! ;D Looking forward to it dude! |

No wonder my bones have been feeling itchy.....and I was two seconds away from rubbing some BenGay into my hair to deal with the soreness. My knee is inconsolable and I was beginning to think my muscles had food poisoning again...
I was wondering aboot him. I've checked his myspace here an' there.....but he never updates that either so yay (and no wonder....wow) Hope some sanity (or insanity?) can be had by him soon @_@

Everything sucks! Never ending computer problems equals no internets and stoof. Even now, the connection is erratic. Add that to my phone being super fail phone and we have a winner, Johnny! I wasn't able to make any calls for a damn week almost >_< This is the third time that has happened. Methinks I need a new provider. Also, I've been way down in the dumps. A couple weeks ago I got smacked with double bills and late charges on some major bills that i THOUGHT were taken care of before Otakon. Turns out the online payment method I used then didn't work even though I followed the directions exactly. They claim they never received a payment, but were kind enough to still charge me the $15 fee for making my payments that way. Buncha damn crooks. THEN, following that I got a shocking phone call from someone I thought I was close to. I have no idea why, but lets just say we aren't close AT ALL anymore THEN, about 4 days later (which was yesterday) I had to have my happy ass taken to the ER because poison ivy/oak/sumac/whatever decided it loved me enough to swell my eyes shut and make me not able to move my fingers hardly at all. Yay for drugs and nearly a week off from work. Another blow to my finances! Seeing I was already a good $900 in the hole I sure needed an ER bill to add to all that ^_^ AWESOME! WOOT! Glad I can type without actually moving my fingers much, and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, do I wanna scratch the shit out of everything! @_@ So yay for all, that's where I've been if y'all were interested. -_- |

Holy crap........ That really sucks. So much crap compounded at once...
Do you want me to come up and visit? My work week won't be too bad this week. And don't worry about the Otakon hotel bill for now, I can make one more month's rent if I suspend my car payments for now, and my work-payments might cover the month after that if all goes well. So yeah, don't worry about paying that back for now, can't be helped.
Double check the hospital bill, ask for an itemized version so you can make sure there's no erroneous charges. Also ask them what their cost-to-profit ratio is, someone's required to tell you, and explain your financial uproar and see if they'll take it down to the cost part of the ratio.
If you need help hounding the companies about the billing, I can come and make calls if you need me to. I've had to deal with so many companies being poopy about charges, a few more wouldn't be a big deal. If they can charge the service charge, then they HAVE to have posted the payments. Might have to study the fine print, there should be receipt records or else they might not be a credible service, etc. Might take some looking into.

I wanna help too! I can help with your computers and the bills. I am very very very very good at dealing with companies. I got a 2,000 dollar charge taken off an electric bill before at raleigh when even the apartment complex manager couldn't do it. Poor poor wondersayian! I wish you well.
oh what was the time span of getting to the ER and getting the bill? if they gave it to you in less then one week they are not allowed to do thaT for certain things. It requires board approval on final pricing. If it was given in 48 or less hours...... raise holy hell. they can not determine pricing for ER visits that quick. Which hospital was it (PM ME THIS DO NOT POST IT ON BOARDS).

I haven't received a bill YET.....but it won't be cheap regardless. Been to the ER enough to know...
On the plus side, the swelling has gone down a lot on my face so I can actually wear my glasses again (yay...) My hands look like some B movie horror attempt.....yuck.

Letting you all know... my online presence will either be extremely sporadic or non-existant between the 12th and the 19th of October. Possibly a little earlier to a little later too. Me and my mom are accepting an extra job in VA, so I'll hafta cram in all my work quickly, then we travel and work, then we come back and work some more. So yeah, not much free time.
We'll bring her laptop, so if I can occasionally pop onto Yahoo or the board I will, but it's far from certain.
