2005

What did you achieve this year? Was your year one filled with happiness, or one filled with sorrow. Or like me did it seem that you couldn't get enough of both? Here is the major events of my year.

AMV:

- Did a track for the Unearthed Project using the Animatrix, a source i'd been wanting to use for a while.
- Remastered an older video of mine.
- Released my first video in almost a year (havn't "officially" released it yet as i'm giving it some final tweaks, that's what the "something is coming" thing was)
- Started co-ordinating the Doom Project, which will continue on until early to mid 2006.
- Currently working on an Advent Children idea and remastering one of _Ice-Angel_'s old videos as a birthday present for her.
- Got into the Semi-Finals for the 2005 VCA's, which was a huge achievement for me ^_^
- Won second place in the Infinite Chaos competition.
- Won third place in Wai-Con 2005's AMV comp.

Personal:

- Lost someone close to me
- I went to Italy for a month :up:
- I made lots of awesome new friends
- Attended my first con and won third prize in the AMV comp ;D (but was unable to attend the presentation ceremony as i was ill on the second day )
- I died (heart stopped for 46 seconds)

My thanks for 2005:

- Castor Troy: for helping me run my first MEP, helping me with some information for the AMV2DVD guide (although you didn't know it was for that ), and for just being a great guy to have a chat to.
- Fluxmeister: For helping me out with some technical aspects of my videos, for releasing some great videos, and for being a great guy :up:
- SephirothX: For finally getting off your butt and releasing something again , for helping me out, and for being someone i could have a laugh with.
- AltruisticCrono: For being my unnofficial mentor, and of course for putting up with me.
- _Ice-Angel_: For being the crazy hilarious person you are.
- SqiKy_kLeen: For being someone i could talk to, and for supplying me with lots of cool new bands and songs to check out ^_^
- Archangel Zero: For helping me with my decisions on what movies to see, and what games to buy good reviews
- Waffle King: For supplying me with my daily dose of randomness.
- smtemp: For being a constant presence on the board, and for posting some neat pictures.
- Everyone else: for always checking back into the forums and supplying more randomness ^_^

Heh, this post might be a bit depressing/frustrating... (Plus I don't remember what happened when for the most part ^_^;; )

AMV:

-Created "The Mugenjou" and started on the second one before being thwarted by computer problems.
-Accepted the challenge of the Doom Project, began work but was quickly thwarted by computer problems.
-Had many other huge plans, but no means of execution (lack of sources, lack of time), and was thwarted by computer problems.
-Are you sensing a pattern yet?

Personal:

-Had lots of problems from extreme stress at college.
-Worse pain than usual during college, but felt great during the summer by comparisson. ^_^
-Worse pain than usual as winter came around. >_<
-Graduated college... having missed my own graduation due to a mistake setting alarm clock... >_<
-Have signed up for the JET Program, hoping for the best.
-Dad in and out of hospital a lot.
-Relationship with Jason grew tenuous, then I took my escape.
-Otakon 2005 didn't go as planned, but I had a wonderful time, lotsa folks liked my Ed costume. ^_^
-Remained exhausted through summer and beyond to this point from family stress and babysitting toddlers.
-External harddrive became corrupt, along with computer becoming borderline un-useable.
-Bought GetDataBack for $79 to rescue my files, which I've been doing for about a month now.
-Got sick with what seemed like severe chest cold around November 13th, still am not recovered but am definitely on the way and doing much better.
-Turned 23, feel 87.
-Have read lots and lots of manga. Thanks library, you saved a shred of my sanity. ^_^
-Made some new friends, kept current friendships going, made a few closer, and lost a few on their choices.

-Prodigi: For helping me feel good about my acheivements, and including me in so much. My ego's getting healthy now. ^_^

-FUZ: For also making me smile much. Cats rule! :3
-Sqiky: For remaking my website and making DZXproductions.com all spiffy.

My friends have made this year bearable. Still, I hope '06 goes a tad more smoothly. ^_^;; That goes for all of you!

AMV:

-I'm thankful that I finally have a project that I've stuck with
-Finally got all my footage from the FF disks cleaned up and ready for use.
-Not gonna use them for now lol .

Personal:

-I finished a novel It's absolute garbage, but it's out there at least.
-Got my College Apps in.
-Joined DZX Productions!
-Joined the PLRPG
-Got Diagnosed with OCD! Yay!
-Switched Political Parties.
-Hopped on the natural cures bandwagon.

Thanks:

-My Mom: For squeezing me out. It's all been downhill for her ever since.
-My Dad: For helping me with the College Essays.
-Waffle King: For being the head hancho of everybody's favorite morning pastry. And being the king of the .gif files. Someday I will defeat you!
-Zacloud: For putting up with me, and laughing at my unusual sense of humor. You're like the worlds nicest person.
-ShadowPheonix: For being a real nice guy.
-My OCD: For giving me excuses to mess with my friends and explain it away so they can't get mad.

-Continued to not suck at AMVs by means of not making any.

Personal:

-I started drawing more often, but I don't seem to be improving at all.
-Got into college with a definite plan for the years spent there.
-Got to live away from home, be it in a tiny dorm.
-Finally got a job after two years of searching.

Thanks:

-Forever Zero Ultima for being so cool the rare times he could get online.
-Sqiky for holding the much revered DZX meetings.
-Shadow Pheonix for joining me in boredom.
-Archangel Zero for being such a good roommate.
-SMTemp for being such a cool girlfriend to a cool roommate. Oh yeah, and supplying me with chopsticks for which to eat ramen at lightning speed.
-Sephiroth X for getting me to play games other than Halo by absolutely destroying my with the sniper rifle.
-Prodigi for being around at strange hours of the night, time zones rock.
-Zacloud for being so incredibly nice and supportive.
-Altruistic Crono for delivering the most ominous one liners ever.
-LCF for showing me that there are people just a crazy as me out there.
-Whicker for showing me enlightenment in the audio visual aspect.
-Myself for being the corporeal form in which my soul currently resides.
-Al Gore for inventing the internet, with out it none of this would be possible.

Hopefully 2006 will be more eventful for me so I have something good to post next new years.
