Established 2002 - 2012.
"Time Waits For No One" is upon us. A renewal notice for the DZX Productions website appeared in my inbox and I originally thought "one more year" was in order. However, the lack of updates throughout the past two years showed it was time. Despite this not being a final "hurrah" post, it still remains difficult to express the words that can summarize the end of 10 years.
Our adventure does not end here. Only the humble path that once started with high school, Geocities, and MovieMaker will be ending. I thank all current and alumni members of the DZX Production team for sharing a little part of their lives toward a silly partnership of video and music (and a whole lot of Final Fantasy!). If you've had the pleasure of watching our many releases, I hope you enjoyed the ride. Thanks for being awesome fans.
AMV projects are more or less on hold since I haven't had the time or passion to carry out their vision. There was a period of several years where I consumed and worked AMVs daily, but the interest has since waned. Shadow Phoenix said it best in an earlier post - its strange to think how much has changed in the past ten years.
I'm sure the blogged tweet posted via Facebook's streaming RSS feed podcasted onto your wireless mobile smart phone computing device possibilities are endless for what could come next. You kids have it all today. ;p
DZX will continue. Video tinkering still lurks... just hidden within my consciousness.
