Since I made two thread simultaneously today please also check out the No Brand Con 2011 thread.
Kitsune KonA first year convention being held in the Appleton area. kitsunekon.comFebuary 25th-27th 2011 Raddison Paper Valley Hotell. Appleton, WI Kitsune Hotel Rate: $109 per night So guys and gals. We attended the birth of Daisho Con and that's worked out pretty well for us. Why not see if we can get lightning to strike twice and see if we can find another awesome con. In terms of it's calender placement, it fits pretty snug in between Daisho Con and NoBrand Con. Plus it's only about an hour away from AZ's house. Attendees*AC *SK *Whicker *X *Seority
Room 1 - $218.00 + 23.98 tax/fee = 241.98*AC *SK *Whicker Room 2 - $218.00 + 23.98 tax/fee = 241.98*X *Seority |

Are there interested attendees for this convention? I'm not sure who will be the main coordinator, but he/she'd need to reserve the hotel rooms and get going on the plans for the convention.
Also remember this is the convention SK would potentially be the guest rave DJ.

Reservations will be made this week, so I guess that makes me the event sponsor/host/poor sap.  The Kitsunecon hotel rate is $109 per night and is expected to be 2 hotel rooms at the moment. I've discussed with X that a 3rd room might be pending, but I'll wait until its been decided. Are there any other expected attendees for the convention? |

Hotel reservations have been made and prices have been posted. I've set February 20, 2011 as deadline for hotel dues so that money collection is not last minute. Any changes to attendees will alter the cost, so if you confirm/drop your attend, let me know. Final cost per person will be tallied when people are finalized. Start saving money. This was the first time a hotel reservation also requested the name of an adult in each room, which will probably need to be verified via an ID. The first listed name in each room is the designated adult and all reservations are hosted under my name. Requested connected rooms. |

As a reminder, it is currently $121 per person right now so I hope you are keeping some money aside. Money collection is by 2/20 (mentioned in the header) so i can put the $725.94 on my CC.
AZ is still pending, but I'll have a good indication this weekend since he took some new work and should know if he's going yet... maybe.
Don't forget there is a parking garage that also costs money~

hmm.
crono can you look at maybe getting what's called a suite? (or at least a price?)
we could fit 4 people comfortably in one of those. You could even bring your 3-stage inflatable raft. This is if price is a concern.
And SK, where are you? Are you going?
The list is going from 2 + 3 to 2 + 6
Neglecting X's situation...
3 people means 2 rooms are overkill
4 people means 2 rooms are living the high life
5 people means 2 rooms are standard fare
6 people means 2 rooms are nonstop party time (for better or worse)

I say count me in, for now. The only way I'd be unable to go would be if one of my checks came in catastrophically late. Which, while always a possibility, hasn't happened lately.
If that happens, I'll just sell a kidney. Or maybe a piece of my immortal liver. Do organ banks do Paypal?

AZ. Could we look into getting your partyvan for the trip up to the con? Since parking costs money, it would be wise to take as few vehicles as possible. Plus we'd pretty much be stopping at your house anyway.

X - It's a possibility. The ol' beast is still up and running. I'll inquire with the powers that be once we get closer to con time. It's quite likely, pending a blood sacrifice for the heating coil.
