Grrr, here's a fail: "nice'n CLEAN" Lens Cleaning Wipes that they sell in Mooly Mart. They specifically say on the box that they won't scratch your lenses.
After years of just using my shirt, which has worked just fine for me, I finally gave in to my parents' repeated insisting that I should get actual lens wipe cloths cuz they'll work so much better. So I bought a box of these, carefully brushed off any excess stuff, then used them as instructed on the box.
My glasses are now scratched so badly from one GENTLE use, that I'd say they're now at half strength in terms of legibility of text. HALF!
I've emailed the company, we'll see what happens... Glasses are NOT just some cheap thing that's easily replaced... And I kept the cloth to see what it's like after it dries and it's super-rough crinkly paper! Everyone KNOWS you do NOT use paper to clean glasses, it's very abrasive, it's why I never use paper towels or tissue or toilet paper on my glasses. But that's all this crap is, paper with alcohol or something making it moist. My work papers would probably be less abrasive than this stuff! Friggin poop!

EPIC FAIL www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8ZmOgMlyREI'm surprised this hasn't happened at my mooly yet. Granted, we don't use forklifts inside. BUT, we do use a thing called a walkie-stacker. And some of the people that use it have made it to where some parts of the steel used for holding skids of merchandise aren't even connected to the floor anymore. A lot of parts are bent several inches away from where they are supposed to be bolted down @_@ Also, in response to ZC's lens wipes fail: free-info-pages.com/how-to-clean-your-glasses-without-leaving-scratches.htmGot a few tips for myself as well, ZC
