Tell me if I'm the only one...  ...but I stopped shoveling the driveway half way not because of feeling cold, but because I was too warm under my POOFY-ZOMG-WINTER-IS-ONE-TEMPERATURE jacket. ...I am Jack's Unnecessarily Warm Jacket?  |

You are not the only one @_@ strange too... I was just doing that very same thing. I swear Crono, you can tune into the wavelegnth of anyone here. You even mentioned Jack in your post.  And I also had to stop shoveling a couple times due to cold. I need one of those ski masks otherwise my face'll freeze off. Its gotta be done though, I gotta shovel little alleyways and canyons in the snowbanks out back otherwise the dogs wont be able to walk around and go to the bathroom. At least I got a wood fireplace I can crowd around between shovelings. Global warming has arrived ladies and gentlemen....... |

Reasons I'm glad I'm on the East coast, smack dab in the middle. We just have to deal with ice most of the time. Which sucks...ack...

It was about 4°F here when you posted that. I had just walked into Mooly to start my shift half an hour before. I was decked out in my usual garb of nothing but my short-sleeved blue Mooly shirt and jeans. There were a few of my fellow Mooly slaves outside on their break. They said I was insane and asked if I knew that it was 12 below after wind chill. I just stopped and looked around at all the bundled people, then shrugged and walked on in  I guess some people were taking bets on if I would show up finally wearing a coat. Lets just say they all lost cuz they all thought I would finally "come to my senses" XD I guess they all forgot that time a year or two ago when we all had to go out and bring in carts at 4am. It was 8°F with a windchill and all that.....there I am, pushing carts with no coat, no gloves...yeah I do this every year. You'd think they'd be used to it by now and leave me alone  Oh well, they don't call me The Ice Queen for nothing  |

Damn! you are crazy! without a coat. I bundle up with long johns at that temperature. You would do very nice up in wiccy or even the frigid north where you can even whip a narwal's ass! FTW!!
