No, there isnt an actual Wikipedia entry for the Promised Land RPG :-PCorrection : It Is! plrpg.wikidot.com/
Here's a nice little thread for people to input their own little tidbits of information relating to the Promised Land RPG. You can enter anything here ranging from; - Little bits of information about your character
- Interesting observations or notes
- point out inconsistancies and propose fixes for said inconsistancies
Etc, etc. Essentially any large or small trivial item about the PLRPG like you would find in a traditional Wikipedia article. For the sake of organization, please dont input one bit of information in one post and then post an entirely new reply to the thread with another small bit. If other people have posted after your previous post in the thread, then feel free post a new reply. Basically dont stack your own replies on top of each other, there's a 'Modify' option (Although I do forewarn I may break my own rule from time to time in this thread, since I also do primary development for core storyline events and NPCs) ;D Enjoy!

Background information on the 'Sephiroth X' character
Pre-Crono Sephiroth X When X was in his initial creation stages the concept for his primary foe was much different than what came to be when the Dark Crono character was introduced. The only similarity between the concept foe and Dark Crono was that Sephiroth X would blame this foe for everything that went wrong with his life. However the concept foe for Sephiroth X was a much different than the methodical evil Dark Crono brought to the table, he was a much more hateful and vengeful being similar to the post-Jenova version of Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII.
As the fued between Sephiroth X and the concept foe was going to build X was going to be the only character in the PLRPG to ever encounter the concept foe, thus bringing X to realize the concept foe's focus was souly on destroying Sephiroth X. Then in the ending to the storyline between Sephiroth X and the concept foe, the climax was that the concept foe was nothing more than an illusion of Sephiroth X's imagination and that X was the real killer of Catrina and was dellusional and insane. Thus fulfilling his transformation into an incarnation of the FF7 Sephiroth.

Inspiration The basis for Sephiroth X's both Pre-Crono and Post-Crono character & personality pulled suprisingly little from the Final Fantasy 7 version of the character outside of his physical looks and abilities. He was meant to resemble more of a pre-redpill Neo from the first Matrix film, where he was a character who was more or less lost in his own world searching for someone or something that would explain the purpose of his life. This foundation of the character is most notable during his initial stages in the PLRPG when he had very few memories of his past and was searching for a cloaked figure in his dreams. This stage also brought about moments of a more vicious Sephiroth X whom would lash out for answers due to his uncertain past.

Catrina One of the more notable female characters of the PLRPG, Catrina has gone through a few changes in the PLRPG story. When first introduced through the discovery of Sephiroth X's past, she was described as a blonde vixen with medium length hair. This was later reconned into making her a character that resembled Aeris/Aerith from Final Fantasy VII, the reason for the change was never expressely given but it was believed the change was made to make the character fit into more of the supernatural presence she'd later have in the story.
Catrina is also one of three PLRPG characters to return from death (Dark Crono & Azriel are the others). Upon her ressurection at the start of the Fallen Phoenix Saga, her appearance changed yet again to a character with darker hair who sported darker clothing, possibly to resemble a Tifa-like character (FF7) or a Trish-like character (Devil May Cry). Catrina's character explained that this change was to reflect herself getting a second chance at life.

The Masamune Although not inherently an evil weapon the Masamune carries an unexplained dark presence with it, possibly due to past uses of the weapon or the material used to forge the sword. It became Sephiroth X's weapon of choice during his service as a very young soldier for The Senate when a mission near the artic regions of the planet forced Seph and two others into a cave that ended up housing The Masamune. After Sephs friends were killed the Masamune called out to Seph. He pulled the katana from the cold stone of the floor and handidly defeated the enemies who threatened his life. Upon leaving the cave Seph felt anger, possibly amplified from the Masamune, toward the surviving enemies in the cave and used the sword to cause a cave in, sealing the survivors inside to suffer a grueling fate.
The Masamune has shown signs of being responsive only to certain individuals. Although not self-aware or sentient, the Masamune will not allow itself to be used by individuals deemed unworthy and will repel and even injure those whom try to take it by force. The sword has also shown to have minor supernatural abilities. When X reached for the Masamune for the first time the reflection of himself in the blade wasnt a pure reflection, it instead reflected a future image of Sephiroth X that would later turn out to be how X appears currently in the PLRPG. Despite having a slight dark presence to it, the Masamune also seem to carry either a good aura or an evil taint with it depending on the previous master. Since X began wielding the weapon its slowly lost a little of its dark side and began to reflect the good within him. However when Dark Crono retrieved X from Valtiel's hell prison, Crono picked up the Masamune and impaled the blade into the side of a building. When X touched the Masamune immediately thereafter he could sense a darker presence tainting the sword, reflecting Crono himself.
The Masamune is one of three swords forged from the same material (dreamstone). Its counterparts are the Mastermune, wielded by Dark Crono, and Azriel's Nameless Sword. Although the traits of Azriel's sword have never been revealed it is believed that the Masamune is the weakest sword of the trio given that the Masamune lacks traits the other two seem to have in common. It lacks some of the metamorphical powers* the other two swords have as well as lacking a more dominant dark presence in comaprison to the other two swords. Along with these, both Azriel and Dark Crono can summon their swords from thin air where Sephiroth X has to carry his sword around in a sheath.
Only one other character in the known PLRPG universe has been able to wield the Masamune, Dark Crono.
*Azriel's Nameless Sword initially started out as a variation of a Gunblade, however upon his death and ressurection when trying to destroy the Fallen Phoenix esper the Nameless Sword was now more of a standard katana. Dark Crono's staff-like Mastermune was broken in half during his battle against Sephiroth X and within moments it transformed into a two handed serrated edge variation of its former self.

I put my page up ages ago...
Granted, I haven't worked on any of my NPCs (Black Spider, Hodia, RET, KDM, etc.) or locations (Nibelheim, Auralis) yet, but...I have more up than most...
I agree, more work must be done!

I've updated the wiki a tad in a few places. Added Edos Lee under NPCs, finally gave his merc ring a proper name too which is mentioned there. I updated the old posts just enough to retro-actively bring the name Dragon's Claws into the picture. Kinda wrestled with myself about revealing so much new information about him, but in the end, I couldn't figure out a non-contrived way to reveal the info in the actual active RPG storyline, so I figured it as good a place as any. He is an NPC after all, so it'd be useful for all folks writing for him to know as much about him as possible. Got about half of my character's info up too. Will do more when I get back from the trip and have time.

Alrighty, got my wiki page pretty much to the point where I can call it done. ^_^ Might add a pic, and do some pics for everyone, though that'll have to be quite a ways into the future of course, got lotsa work to do. I also used headers and stuff so I could use a Table of Contents, included Bibliography links, and link to other wiki pages with character and location links much like Wikipedia. I'll mess with it later to see if I can shrink the heading text any so it can look a little less bulky. (Update: I got it to work, woot!) If it works (As update says, it does!), then y'all can feel free to use the same format, that way things are more organized and professional. I've tried out using that format for the NPCs page as well. More of those could of course stand to be added. I'd do it myself, but I see their creators as being the most knowledgeable in that department. (And there's a few I wanna wait with, such as a couple that'd be best to introduce when they have more story focus). I also created a new section and a couple place-holder pages for it: Races/Species. Since we do have so many different races mentioned in the RPG, that might be a good place to put references to them (such as the many races ShadowPhoenix has created ). If any of you don't think that's useful though, feel free to get rid of it, though I can see that section actually getting rather large once it's worked on in earnest. Kisenians (spelling?), whatever Black Spider is, whatever Lynx is, many of these can be included there. It can prove a useful resource for anyone who might wanna join the RPG as well, so they can pick a pre-defined race if they don't wanna think of one of their own.

At long last, I have somewhere to put all of my lonely documents on the races where someone will actually see them! Geez, why did my mind-muse have to create a whole damned universe with races to populate it. 27 races, about 16 of which were created by me. Oi vey. Good idea, ZC. I like it.
Kisenians is correct. And Black Spider is, for lack of a better term, a Shape Shifter, sub-species Trans. There are probably other names for his species, but Shape Shifter is the commonly accepted one.
I will put up new information as I am able. But I am so focused on getting ready for my recital, which is in 3 weeks.
