oh yes, it was a blast! i wish i could have taken more than a couple pictures but my costume not having pockets kinda stopped me ;_; but phyco got a picture of the Victoria from Hellsing that i so painfully wanted to take so its all good.
oh yes, and LCF? a bunch of people thought that i was a girl while in costume >.<

oh yes, it was a blast! i wish i could have taken more than a couple pictures but my costume not having pockets kinda stopped me ;_; but phyco got a picture of the Victoria from Hellsing that i so painfully wanted to take so its all good. oh yes, and LCF? a bunch of people thought that i was a girl while in costume >.< yes but in ultimate compensation for that, when they announced that the next entry was 'Pyramid Head' for the cosplay contest you hands down got the loudest ovation. Second to none. 'DZX Does Detour' was EASILY the most fun I've had in years if not the most fun time i've ever had. period. It was such a nice welcoming experience were I could completely be myself and it was not only accepted but embraced. Something that I so totally never could get away with here in my hometown. And i was very much overwhelmed with being surrounded by all of the stuff I've ever liked (and TONS of Advent Children stuffs) and other people who like it just as much! XD. From the moment I got to AC's house it was like BAM! (herpes) A nonstop megamix of ass kicking fun right up until I unpacked my stuff at home ](FOR PORN). I was astonished by how friendly everybody was (game room people being the only relative exception). You could just walk up to a person and start a conversation and have a blash! Or get glomped randomly ^_^ ! (BTW AltruisticCrono, i WILL get more glomps than you next con!!!) But wow this was just... FUN! XD. I so hope i can make it to ACen! |

that was hands down the most fun ive had...whoa ever, not to mention it was awsome to just walk around as my self rave pants head ears and goggles and just feel accepted, not to mention wearing the free hug sign was awsome, during the con i heard a group of fan girls refer to me as the free hug wolf  , it was great to just hang out with every one too, so thank you all for making this possible and contributing in all you're awsome splendor FOR PORN! , lol |

So yeah, I'm feeling the post con depression. I always get that way, Tara gets it even worse. Sometimes you don't hear from her for weeks. ^_^ but she's better this year. Indeed...coming back to reality is really hard. Suddenly the population isn't as friendly and doesn't care about you.
I accomplished very little yesterday. I got home after classes, reflected on the convention, & didn't touch any homework. Went to bed really early too.
Nice pictures btw. I'll have to develop mine soon!

Oh and with the video that won best in show... I guess the way the convention does it is the "Fairness" rule >: P which is stupid... but they try to spread out the awards as much as possible. At least Detour does it that way... they were talking about it in the AMV Contest thread. About how can a video win Best in Show if it didn't win it's category. oh well
Oh and I lied about how big Acen is going to be >.< It's 10,000 instead of 30,000. But that's still big ^_^
