*Over the vast ocean separating the two major continents of the world a lone object flew mere feet above the water creating a wake to rival a large sea vessel. The nighttime sky reflected off of the ocean and the moon gave a calming illumination and it provided enough light to reveal the shape of Sephiroth X over the ocean flying towards is inevitable destiny. X had never had a prolonged stay in the world’s largest and most organized city but rather only a few overnight stays during his early years in military service. This would be his first time there where he could actually free-roam and observe the sights and sounds of a city that wasn’t in borderline anarchy and was out of the tight grasp of the Senate or the Holy Order of the Magi. But as bittersweet as it was, he knew that he was still in a way not coming here out of free will.
*In the distance ahead of X he could see the shape of the Beta Continent’s coastline ahead of him and knew that the Super City limits would follow shortly thereafter. From observing many maps and reading up on facts about the Beta Continent X knew that the Super City was larger in area than both Midgar and Zion put together, in fact the Super City took up nearly half of the Beta Continent itself which would equal approximately a third of the Alpha Continent, and all of that information was already out of date. The idea of entering such a large metropolis enthralled Seph and caused him to smirk as a small bit of adrenaline ran through is veins. He was also hoping to feel a bit of relief when he got there, as odd as it would seem. X knew that he would be temporarily living around people whom weren’t as on-edge as Alpha Continent residents were, people that have lived good unaltered lives and haven’t even come close to the hardships of the 200 Year War.
*As X flew over the land of the Beta Continent he looked down for a moment, for the first time in a long time he saw living grass instead of dead scorched earth. It was like an entirely different world on the Beta Continent, and compared to what he traditionally lived in this place felt like Eden. Then X looked ahead of him again and in the reflection of his eye you could see the distant lights and shapes of buildings.
Sephiroth X- There it is…
*X flew up higher into the air as he flew over the first buildings and suburban homes that eventually gave way to a marvelous endless view of high rises and skyscrapers that seemed to go all the way into space. X began weaving his way between the marvelous structures with lights from every building lighting his way. From up close to off in the distance each one of the structures had rooms and offices lit up with late night workers creating what could only be described as a unique mystique that made nighttime almost feel like daytime, the stars above seemed to twinkle just as the buildings below did. The buildings and overall layout of the Super City where visually far more advanced and sophisticated compared to their Alpha Continent brethren, even Zion didn’t look this economically and technologically advanced.
*Seph continued weaving between buildings before lowering his altitude and increasing his speed slightly as he flew just above hoards of cars below on a large 6-lane street before promptly raising his altitude again so that he wouldn’t attract attention. Ahead of him he saw one of the more massive skyscrapers yet. X flew towards the building and as he got to it he flew straight upward, his body a few feet from the windows of the building and he could see his own reflection with the backdrop of the Super City behind him as he flew up the side of the building. Upon reaching the top of the skyscraper X hovered over the roof and softly landed his feet on the top of the building. Seph walked over to the edge of the building and stood there looking at the endless amounts of buildings in all directions of him.
Sephiroth X- … Amazing…
*X’s eyes focused one direction of the city, the amount of skyscrapers and high-rise buildings thickened significantly in this direction as it probably indicated that it was more near the heart of the Super City. In the skies above the apparent core of the city seemed to be darker, even in the nighttime sky it seemed apparent that clouds created some kind of darker aura around this area of the city. The clouds themselves almost looked like rain clouds just waiting for the right time to pour down upon the city. As Seph continued to gaze in that direction he understood what it would eventually lead him too, and as a soft cold wind blew around him he knew when the time would be right.
Sephiroth X- A storm is coming…

How could I have let it come this far?
This isn’t the way it was supposed to be.
This is not how things were supposed to end.
He sits atop a dilapidated skyscraper, a broken edifice raised to the sky. The twilight clouds hang low and heavy, no more than a mile above his head. Hands clasp at crumbling steel, weather worn and brittle. He himself is worn, a statue sheered by the elements. Tattered wings and smoking eyes. A furnace burns deep within his being. Yet beneath this pain is new strength. Limits once thought impassible are now nothing more than distant memory, shattered roadblocks on the way to ascendance.
Yet with this power comes a reluctance - A hesitancy he would once have shunned. Is it possible there could be another way? Must these things come to pass?
No, he thinks. It is inevitable.
The conflict is coming.
The Absolution.
The Sacrifice.

(Collaboration post between myself and Sqiky once more)
As the mainland approached, Keldira's passengers gazed upon the new view with wonder and amazement. From afar they could see the green of vegetation, the grey of concrete, and the dotted spectrum of vehicles. There were areas concealed by mist, yet also areas so clear that the visibility from afar was astounding. Even Zack's mind, programmed to accept all he experienced easily, had a hard time grasping the new pallet of colors and shapes before him.
"Holy crap!" he gasped, "Am I really seeing this?!"
"You sure are," Jack interjected, taking a moment to flip off the visor. "Mankind’s most glorious achievements... office buildings and cars." His comments had a hint of sarcasm, as he didn't innately trust the corporate world. "But I will say this. There's no lack of opportunity in a city like that. This is going to be some trip."
Zack cocked his head a bit at Jack's tone, thinking about it a little, then he pointed out, "Well there's green too, Jack! Green! I only saw that in a park in Midgar but it's all over at the edge! Can we see that first Keldira?"
Of course, Keldira answered so all could hear, I plan to land before the City anyway, so as not to attract too much attention. She lowered her altitude accordingly, and made her way over the rocky beach and over the sandy fields until the ocean's spray was left behind, and trees began to complicate her flight path. She alighted gracefully at the edge of a brief forest.
It will not be a long walk from here, she assured them.
As they dismounted, Zack ran up in front of her and gave the mighty Phoenix a tight hug. "Thank you soooo much," he crooned, "We'll see you again, right?"
Of course, little one. She closed her eyes and nuzzled his face. Zack giggled and petted her once more, then stepped back so Bax could say his farewells. The exchange between the Phoeniyan and the Phoenix was quiet, in foreign tongue and in mind. Zack looked on with a smile; Keldira was a link to Bax's home world in many ways, so it truly would be hard to say goodbye.
Jack regained his footing on the Earth and let out a small thank you. Looking back though, he really wasn't in that much danger.
As he re-gathered his things, he took notice of Keldira’s friendly disposition and how happy it was making Zack. He had to smile, as he knew this was something Zack desperately needed. Jack took a moment to send out some mental thanks of his own.
You're welcome. Take care. she replied as she began to lift off the ground, her massive wingspan easily hoisting her weight. The three of them watched as Keldira began to rise ever more slowly, while she began to dissipate into intense sparking rays of golden energy, eventually seeming to combust, then dissapear in a flash as a gust of wind swept through the woods.
Zack raised his arms to shield his eyes from the intense light and the debris carried by the wind created from Keldira's takeoff, but did not bother to protect his gaping mouth as he gasped in awe and laughed from a fresh wave of excitement. The Phoenix's beauty and ability of flight never ceased to amaze him. He then used one arm to wave to her as she flashed out of sight. "Byeeee! Have a vacaaatiooon!"
He then made a funny face and spat a few times. "Uck! I think I swallowed some tree stuff."
He looked around at its source, however, and smiled. "All these trees! They're so big and nice! They make all this shade!" He flopped down onto his back in the grass, arms and legs spread, smiling and gazing up at the green canopy above him.
Jack took a deep breath of the crisp air of the forest. It didnt bite his lungs, like the harsh and dry desert air of Alpha. He walked under the intense shade of one of the large Oak trees and knocked on the trunk like a door. He then looked up into the trees noticing an owl, as well as the intense number of branches. "Its refreshing to be out here. Man, it would have been nice to have one of these to hide out in when I was younger! I bet I could climb this no problem."
From the ground, Zack chuckled. "We can all try whenever we want. I love this place already! I could live out here and eat here way easy compared to the Desert." He sighed, then rolled over onto his belly, stroking his hand over the thick green grass. It felt nice and cool. "This is like a dream... I never imagined I'd see stuff like this. It's almost overwhelming..." His voice quieted a bit. "I actually think I'm scared of seeing the City part... Maybe I'll explode..."
"Relax. Money talks around here, and I've got that taken care of." Jack pulled out his wallet with a card containing a large sum of credits provided by Shiki. "People will wait on you for a change."
Jack noticed that the moon was intensely bright tonight, and as a result the shadows seemed very dark in contrast. He took in the scope of the journey thus far and he decided he could press on if he got moving. Celica had to be out there somewhere.
"Its the perfect time for travel right now. We’ve got the moonlight and the cover of shadow. If we want to get to the city and rest we should head out soon, before it really gets busy." Jack made a mental notion to remove the suit and it began to refold as he spoke. "Then its going to be standing-room-only in the streets."
Zack sat up with a resolute sigh, then stood and dug around in the knapsack he'd brought. He began to pull as much of his hair back as he could and proceeded to tie it into a short, high ponytail. He grumbled with frustration as spiky protrusions still evaded his grasp, even when he tried flattening them with some spit. Bax looked at him with a bit of puzzlement; he had not seen Zack this particular about his hair before.
Zack looked at Bax and smiled ruefully. "Well, I'm a Strife, and I hear people here don't like Strifes either, and I don't want people to get mad at you guys for being seen with me. Maybe they won't know like this." He managed to get most of his hair back, but his bangs and some offshoots at the bottom would have to remain as they were. Zack shouldered his pack and sighed once more. "Well, let's get going then."
Jack stared off into the city for a bit, and gave a few thoughts to Zack’s fears about his name. "People are so caught up in their own thing over here, that I don’t think they'll even notice." He paused and looked over at Bax. "But you might be a little hard to pass off as easily."
Bax nodded. "I am prepared for some staring, but if Midgar was any model, there may be other extra-terrestrials here too. I was not the only one in Midgar, and many did not seem too shocked."
Zack cocked his head a bit. "Still, maybe we'll make a quick stop and get you something with a hood or a hat or something. In fact..." He sniffed the air carefully, looking up at the sky. "...A storm is coming... Yeah, you'll need something. That's our first goal. Onward!" He pointed ahead and began marching in an exaggeratedly resolute fashion. Bax smiled a bit and shook his head as he fell in behind the blonde.
Jack nodded and checked everything over, including the suit one more time. As he motioned to walk he noticed something he hadn't earlier. His leg was completely healed, despite being severely injured in his recent encounters. He could even feel a bit of extra muscle there, noticing a disproportionate balance to his other leg. Hmmm, that suit plugged something into me when I was injured... I wonder... He shuddered for a moment at the thought of having some kind of growth hormone injected into him, but he decided to let that go for now. Bax and especially Zack were eager to go and he didn't want to hold them up. He was actually thankful, as his new leg sprung forward with newfound strength he didn't expect. Now I'll be able to keep up.. if Zack doesn't run full speed into the city...
Just then an enormous lightning bolt streaked across the sky, and in about 3 seconds, followed by a clash of thunder which echoed through the forest. It was like a gunshot over their heads. "Crazy weather... looks like a storm."
Zack had not expected it to arrive so soon. He drove his speed up to a modest jog. "Hopefully they'll have the right kinda store close enough to where we pop in," he said as he dashed toward civilization. The trees began to taper off and thin out, giving way to suburban backyards. He did not bother to see if anyone was looking out their windows at them as the three interlopers dashed through several unfenced yards, stepping around children's toys or over small yelping dogs. The buildings became larger, and the greenery more and more sparse, until they were without a doubt within the urban boundaries.
The teen looked around. He was surprised how few people there actually were, even given the fact that it was nighttime. What traffic he saw, both on foot and in vehicles, mostly seemed to be heading away, toward the innermost part of the city. And rather than be dazzled by the plethora of vehicles and the bright lights of businesses, Zack felt compelled to follow the masses. It was as if a piper were playing a silent tune.
He shuffled his priorities, however, and beckoned the others. "Here's a clothes shop," he said, leading the way. Bax nodded and followed. He could see Zack seemed impatient somehow, and he assured him, "I'll choose quickly; I'm not picky about it."
When the business was over, Bax emerged with a black sleeveless hooded jacket, the hood already over his head. And not a moment too soon, as the first several raindrops had begun to fall. Zack once more gazed toward the major area of the city, his eyes distant, looking heavily focused.
"...We need to go there, guys... Something big's gonna happen. There's so many people there..." He began to walk, without even looking at them to see if they were following. Bax blinked, and looked at Jack curiously.
Jack looked back at Bax with thoughts of his own. Something was strange with him, he's usually never this motivated to go off on his own... might as well stick with him.
He and Bax fell into step behind Zack. The rainfall became heavier, and soon became a heavy deluge. Zack slowed down for one moment, extending his hand and looking up at the sky. He smiled while blinking the water from his eyes; most of his life, such a downpour would be a rare blessing. He wondered how often it would happen on the Beta continent.
But quickly enough, he resumed a faster pace toward their unknown destination. The tie in his hair slowly worked its way down, slickened by the rain, until it fell off onto the soaked pavement, flattening instantly in the downpour, unnoticed by its owner and left behind.

*The Senator stood in the center of a massive room looking around slowly. The room was very much broken and under reconstruction was immediately underway. As the Senator looked upwards he felt a warm draft of afternoon air run across his face. The sun that scorched the Desert of the Dead on a daily basis was beaming down on his face and into the room, but not through any kind of window, for that had been destroyed just over a day or so ago. The Senator looked back down at the ground and observed the red Halo of the Sun logo that was painted onto the fine marble flooring of the Observatory that Sephiroth X had essentially destroyed.
The Senator- Hmph… He could have at least disposed of them in a much cleaner fashion.
*A door opened up ahead of him as a single Senate commander approached him armed with a mid sized assault rifle.
Senate Commander- Sir, preparations are in place, the strike force is standing by. We are expecting high-level resistance so I would recommend that you relocate out of the hot zone.
The Senator- I appreciate your recommendation but this is something I want to be present for.
*The Senator calmly gripped the handle of his katana, Hades, for a moment before nodding to the Commander. They both proceeded into the next room, the secondary archive that doubled as an entrance to the Holy Order of the Magi’s underground ‘temple’. Around the Senator lined two-deep along the walls of the wrecked Observatory were Senate soldiers armed to the teeth and ready to go into a battle, they were the Senate’s finest… or what was left of them thanks to Sephiroth X. And as the Commander walked back into the room with the Magi’s Temple entrance, that room was also filled with Senate troops. The Commander weaved through the troops in the room and stood looking at two other soldiers, Lt. Commanders, who were standing by the bookshelf that hid the door to the temple.
Senate Lt. Commander 1- Shall we proceed sir?
*The commander nodded.
Senate Commander- Prep the door and then wait for my next signal.
*Promptly the two Lt. Commanders pulled out what looked to be like some kind of advanced laser cutters and began slicing through the fake bookshelf making a large door shape through the bookshelf. As the two Lt. Commanders slowly etched their way and completed their quick duty one of the two soldiers reached into a side bag on his belt and pulled out a small film-container sized cylindrical item with a point at one end and promptly jammed it into the center of the bookshelf before looking back at his Commander.
Senate Lt. Commander 2- We’re ready…
*The main Commander looked back into the Observatory at the Senator and simply waited for The Senator to give some kind of signal of acknowledgement. The Senator stood there for a moment in thought.
The Senate- What I do now I do for myself, for Zion, and for a greater good… May my sins be forgotten at least for this one moment…
*The Senator then looked at the Commander and nodded in acknowledgement. The Commander then looked at his Lt. Commanders and gave the word.
Senate Commander- Kick ass.
*The three soldiers all took a few steps back and instructed the surrounding soldiers to do so as well. One of the Lt. Commanders held a small button in his hand and raised his other hand. As his free hand raised up all of the soldiers in that room and the observatory all simultaneously shouldered their various assault rifles and got ready for the raid.
Senate Lt. Commander 2- FIRE IN THE HOLE!
*The Lt. Commander pressed the button in his hand and the cylinder item that was jammed into the bookshelf exploded sending the carved out remnants of the bookshelf flying down the dark stairwell that lead into the Holy Order of the Magi’s temple. The Lt. Commanders stormed down the stairway as the main Commander waved his arm signaling the small army of soldiers down with them.
Senate Commander- GO! GO! GO!
*The Senate soldiers promptly went down into the temple three-wide down the stair well and broke off into various premeditated directions covering ground within the temple. As the final soldiers descended down into the Magi’s headquarters The Senator unsheathed his katana and he and the Commander were the last two to head down the stairs. Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs the Senator could hear various yelling and Senate soldiers barking orders like Get down! and Hands on your heads! and thankfully could hear no gunfire… which pleased him, meaning everything was going according to plan.
Senate Commander- This way sir it’ll take us right-
*The Senator interrupted him.
The Senator- Yes, yes I know where their room of operations resides. Lets go.
*The two proceeded down the same corridors that Sephiroth X passed through a couple of days before. They both saw various doors kicked open, all of which had Senate soldiers either handcuffing and securing low level Magi pawns or using a little ‘excessive force’ to get their ideas across. Finally the Senator and his Commander reached the large double doors that led to the Magi’s High Council room. The doors main opening and locking mechanism was shattered, visually looked like it was blasted open by a small explosive but the frame still stood there keeping the doors ‘shut’ to a point. The Senator smirked and then made a gesture to his Commander.
The Senator- After you.
*The Commander smirked with him and then pushed open the large double doors, and as they opened up they lost their stability and fell off the doorframe crashing down on the stone floor. Inside the room there were multiple Senate soldiers all detaining a few of the Holy Order’s highest-ranking officials. One solider had a priest pinned face down against the large circular table in the room, the Senator looked at that soldier and motioned for the soldier to bring that man here.
The Senator- Him… Bring him here.
*The soldier pulled the priest up to a standing position by the hood of his cloak and pushed him over to the Senator before pressing the tip of his gun against the priests back. The Senator smirked once again as the Holy Order’s High Priest Revan stood before him with a bruise on his face and a trickle of blood running down from his nose.
The Senator- Why hello there dear Revan, nice weather in the cave today I see?
Revan- I’m relieved to see you didn’t decide to hide this time and came to witness your own undoing.
The Senator- An idle threat from a handcuffed man with a gun pointed in his back.
Revan- So may I be entitled to ask what this… action is all about?
The Senator- It is time for a change, my friend. The Senate from now on will be run by The Senate and not be a puppet for you. You of all people I thought would see this as inevitable.
*Revan looked momentarily perplexed for some reason like there was some kind of information that missed him, but then a casual smirk regained dominance of his facial expression.
Revan- Yes such action was probably inevitable. All children’s toys grow old after a while, no matter what, it seems.
The Senate- You’re fortunate I was in a good mood today. Such a good mood that instead of simply killing you during this little raid, I’m going to let you live. In fact I’m not even going to force you into the Zion brig… where you probably belong.
*Revan spoke sarcastically.
Revan- Then what is my fate all forgiving one?
The Senate- You and your subordinates are going to be given transport and told to… get the hell out of here.
Revan- And what kind of transport shall we be given?
The Senate- You will be supplied with two amphibious infantry convoy vehicles with enough fuel to get you out of Zion’s artillery range. From that point on you’ll be able to do your own bidding, oh and I suggest you pack lightly and quickly… by the time you start leaving you’d best hope my good mood does not fade away.
*The Senator looked at three of the other soldiers all who had Holy Order priests in restraints.
The Senator- Free those three but keep guard of them, allow them to gather up whatever supplies our buddy Revan wants to take with him on their little camping trip and then escort them to the deportation vehicles.
*Revan looked over his shoulder and barked out to his three priests.
Revan- Go into the next room and grab the three capsules that are in their and any relevant supplies towards the operation. That’s all we’re going to need… We were reaching a stage where we wouldn’t need the cover of the Senate anymore.
*The Senator and the Commander began walking out of the room and the Senator gave some final instructions to the Commander before leaving to return back to his quarters.
The Senator- Instruct your men to begin moving all Magi to the deportation vehicles, shoot any that give the slightest bit of resistance and then have your men do one more sweep through the facility to make sure there aren’t any stragglers or any secondary exits that someone may have escaped through, then seal this damn place off.
Senate Commander- Yes sir.
*The Senator began walking away, then paused a moment as he looked over his shoulder to his Commander.
The Senator- Oh, and Commander?
Senate Commander- Yes sir?
The Senator- Your soldiers will be commended for this successful operation. Oh… Make sure ‘High Priest’ Revan gets a firm reason to remember why he shouldn’t even consider returning to Zion.
*The commander grinned.
Senate Commander- Yes. Sir.
*The Senator walked off down the corridors out of the facility as the Commander gave Revan a firm slam into the gut with the butt of his rifle while three of Revan’s priests came out of the next room pulling three man-sized capsules and a couple of duffle bags full of supplies.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
*A short while later The Senator entered his quarters to see the sun beaming down giving a nice warm illumination to the room. Also within his quarters were a few tech-officers working on various things within the room including the placement and wiring of a television camera. The Senator approached one of the tech officers and tapped him on the shoulder.
The Senator- Are the preparations ready?
Tech Officer- Yes sir, just making sure the signal is set to the proper range of frequencies.
The Senator- The signal will be strong enough to encompass the full audience I’m trying to reach, correct?
Tech Officer- Oh hell yeah- … er… I mean yes sir. We have all of the Senate antennas and satellites interconnected for this not to mention we’re using The Senate’s main power supply centers to power this. You’ll be able to send a clear signal to anyone who has a radio, television, computer, walkie-talkie, hell if you want I’ll make your message play on a god damn Etch A Sketch.
The Senator- Even in the Super City?
Tech Officer- Especially in the Super City… We don’t need nearly half the resources we’re using to send a signal over the entire Alpha Continent, this is mainly designed to be able to reach the entire Super City itself.
The Senator- Good… the worldwide broadcast should be ready then.
Tech Officer- Lemme… make … this one… tweek…. there! All set. All tests and signals are coming in through the clear. Get ready and give the world and we’re good to go.
The Senator- Good work. Allow me to prep for the broadcast.
*The Senator walked up to a podium that was set up in front of the camera in place in his quarters. He organized a few papers he set up on the podium and cleared his throat for an apparent speech. After gathering himself and gathering his thoughts for a moment he looked over to one of the tech officers who was stationed in front of a small control panel and gave him a nod. The tech officer flipped a few switches and pressed a few buttons and then looked up at the Senator.
Tech Officer 2- There will be a few seconds for the signal to hack its way onto all available communication lines. I’ll give you a signal and countdown when we are through.
*Across various regions of the world all forms of communication began experiencing strange hiccups. Television stations flickered and turned into white noise, radios gave off static, and internet signals all became rerouted towards a single destination. Display televisions in stores in the Super City all began displaying the same image catching the attention of all passers by just as everyone in their homes or on the road noticed something happening. As more and more people whom were gathering on streets or stopping what they were doing to investigate, every form of visual communication began displaying a similar image out of the white noise and static. Zack, Bax, and Jack just arrived within the Super City a short while ago and had found there way near the interior of the city as the communications systems all started experiencing the same anomaly. The image that came from the white noise on the televisions turned into Senator. Back in Zion, the tech officer behind the control panel gave a 3-2-1 countdown to the Senator and pointed at him to acknowledge he was on the air… everywhere.
The Senator- People of Zion… and the World… This is the Senator broadcasting on a universal signal from Zion. Every television, radio, computer, and any other method of communication is receiving this message just as you are viewing it right now.
*People everywhere in Midgar, Zion, and The Super City looked on in wonder.
The Senator- As many of you are probably aware, The Senate is traditionally not looked upon in the greatest of light. And most of the time it’s probably a just reason, whether it be thanks to myself or by my subordinates. But this transmission isn’t about any of that directly, this is for a greater good something that everyone in this world should have the right to be aware of.
*The Senator looked away from the camera for a second and nodded to someone out of view. A few seconds later various images from Zion security cameras were being displayed showing Holy Order priests being loaded into transports near Zion’s main exit.
The Senator- For those of you whom are viewing this transmission on a visual level, what you are seeing now are Zion security images displaying Senate soldiers removing a group of people from our home. These people are the high-ranking officials of an infamous group named The Holy Order of the Magi. As farfetched as it may be for some of you to believe, the Holy Order of the Magi is far from an urban legend or long forgotten group of people. The Magi exist and have been using the Senate for their own personal agendas and now we have cleansed ourselves of this problem and we’re blowing the door open on the mystique and mystery surrounding them.
*People huddled around a few TVs on the sidewalk of the cloudy Super City looked perplexed yet amazed. The TV transmission then cut back to a view of the Senator.
The Senator- The most recent thing the Holy Order of the Magi were trying to keep covered up involved something of significant history. Until now virtually nobody in this world knew what was happening, a legend was playing itself out, something that hasn’t happened since the 200 Year War.
*The Senator nodded again and then a security picture of a silver haired black clad man holding a massive katana appeared… a picture of Sephiroth X.
The Senator- The silver haired man you see now is a man named Sephiroth X. A powerful fighter and a man essentially forgotten by common society.
*The television then switched to a composite sketch of a hooded man with a dominant yellow eye and a strand of red hair protruding from under the hood.
The Senator- And this man is essentially the mortal nemesis of the Sephiroth X. He goes simply by the name of Dark Crono. Little is known about this man except that his abilities stretch beyond the limits of what seem possible and his power goes unmatched. He, like Sephiroth X, is forgotten by common society and forgotten by existence itself.
*The camera cut back to the view of the Senator.
The Senator- These two men have been the frontrunners in a quest too find one thing that has become forgotten and a folk legend amongst the people of this world… The Element of Prosperity.
*People in a bar in Midgar awed and quietly gasped at what he was saying.
The Senator- You heard me correctly… The Element of Prosperity. These two men are on a collision course to determine who will bear the name of the ‘Warrior of Prosperity’ for our generation as well as settle a personal vendetta between the two of them. If the Holy Order of the Magi were not forced from their current headquarters, you may have never known about this legendary battle that is about to occur and attempt to utilize this forgotten power for their own personal use. People of the world you are close to witnessing something that will not be forgotten for a long time in our history, feel fortunate because many people have given their lives or sacrificed what is most important to them to reach where we are today. What I have done today will affect The Senate, the Magi, and now how the world views this duel of the fates. Be safe people of the world, and may whatever God you worship look down upon you…
*The Senator nodded to the camera one time and the signal vanished. People all over the world looked around at each other in awe and stunned not knowing how to react. Yet despite the short but amazing story that was told by the Senator… people seemed to believe it.
*Simultaneously as the Senator completed his transmission and vanished from all forms of transmission a loud crack of thunder rumbled the entire Super City.
*And then the rain fell.
