I realize that my profile was never recovered. So here it is...a little updated...
Appearance: Bax is the king of a very alien race called the Phoeniyans, and as with all Phoeniyans, he has a bright flame atop his head where another race’s hair might be. This flame’s composition and intensity change with his emotions, but that’s about all that it indicates. He stands about 6’4” and has a very muscular build that is highlighted by a semi-loose red gi. This gi has two symbols on the back which mean “Shadow Phoenix” in an ancient Phoeniyan script. Bax’s pupils are a deep red, but have a very kind and understanding look to them. When in battle however, these “kind eyes” turn almost cold with concentration. He also carries one of his many swords on his back at all times.
Recently, Bax has changed his appearance somewhat, abandoning his traditional red gi for black to hide his identity from the forces pursuing him. While the leather trenchcoat is too heavy to wear at all times, he frequently wears a black gi of a similar composition to his red one, but without any special markings.
Personality: Bax stands up for those who are weaker than him and respects all creatures but doesn’t desire getting into conflicts that he has no interest in. He is, however, a very easy-going and laid-back guy who is always up for a good laugh and a day out to enjoy himself. A bit enigmatic at times, however, he is a deep person who gets quiet when he has a lot on his mind. During these times, his mysterious side rears its strange head and he becomes quite unpredictable.
Bax has become much more comfortable with humans, but also a lot more skeptical about their behavior. His time on Earth has jaded him even further and his ability to trust has taken a great hit. He is much warier of his interactions now than we he was upon first coming to Earth.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Bax uses a vast array of swords, particularly the “Star Fighter” and the “Valermos.” He also favors his skills involving fire.
Fighting Style: Phoeniyan Swordsman – uses a combination of sword and fire techniques to overwhelm the enemy. Bax is fairly adept in hand-to-hand combat, employing flames to enhance his blows. Bax is an innovative, tactical fighter, drawing from years of personal experience and combining techniques on the spot quite experimentally to see if they will aid him in a battle.
Signature Moves: No particular frequency anymore.
1) Fire Manipulation – Whether it involves a simple fireball, a stream of fire, propulsion off of the ground, or creating things with special flames, Bax can do it with ease. The more fire involved, the more energy it consumes, of course, but Bax uses many techniques that involve his flames. Bax can basically keep up his attacks for as long as he can keep from passing out. A recent augmentation of Bax’s technique has been to increase his fireball’s abilities to hone in on their target and explode at his command. One of his most difficult techniques is the Firestorm—a massive blanket of fire called down from the heavens.
2) Red Blaze – A red flame erupts from the ground beneath the opponent, rising in a large column. Alternatively, Bax can fire the blaze directly from his hands, those this requires more personal energy. This is a characteristic Firago attack.
3) Summon: Phoenix – Whether the Phoenix is considered mythological or not, it exists, and Bax can summon it. Because of Bax’s close relationship with the bird, it is extremely powerful, obeying him completely. It is an extremely powerful bird that Bax can use for transportation or to attack an enemy with high-powered fire. Bax’s summon on Earth is a Phoenix known as Keldira. Alternatively, Bax can create smaller Phoenix-like birds with only flames for diversionary or reconnaissance purposes.
4) Kisenian Blue Flame – Bax creates a seal on the ground that harnesses the power of a god-like being on Auralis’ sister planet, Kisenia, and summons strength from that god. The technique that Bax favors from a subset is one which requires him to make contact with his target. Bax grasps the target with a powerful iron grip that is painful as it is, but then begins to tamper with the insides of the victim of the attack, boiling and freezing their insides at the same time. Results in permanent internal and external damage…and a lot of pain. Other techniques are attainable with this demigod from the seal.
5) Inferno Blade – A technique of Bax’s own creation, borrowing its name one of the ships in the Auralisian fleet. Rather than utilizing flames, Bax concentrates his energy into a new form that specializes in cutting. This energy blade is deadly to machinery, shields, and flesh alike, and can be extended in numerous fashions. One of the most effective ways is an augmentation of Bax’s hand-to-hand combat, where his hands basically become extended blades of their own, like katar’s and are extremely deadly to the touch. Bax can launch this energy if he so desires.
Miscellaneous:
• Bax is the king of the Phoeniyan race.
• He’s slightly telepathic and telekinetic due to intense meditation daily.
• Fire heals him – in fact, he bathes in either fire or a sonic-wave shower.
• He’s weak against water.
• Bax’s blood and tears are nearly a liquid fire.
