just tricking. Well i do have a new video, but it won't be ready for another 1-2 days. But it will be ready. Yes. Yes it will. So far production has been grand. It's a 'metal' (loosely used term) song, and it's to the Cowboy Bebop series and movie Liz (Nes), Cal (Lock), Jay (Koop), and Brad (AtomX) have been beta'ing for me, and so far they love it, and so in a way its their vid too, coz i'm taking their advice and making changes accordingly. Anyway, it'll be ready soon, so i thought i'd just get you pumped (if you're interested). I wanted to enter it into AWA Pro, but unfortunately i can't coz i'd have an unfair advantage. (in Pro the creators are the judges, and its silent voting where you don't know the creator of any video, so the fact that 4 ppl already entering Pro have seen most of the video means it'd be biased : \ damn) I'll see you very soon with the final product.

It's...so...pretty...
It was about 4:00 this morning when I watched it, so I was exhausted. But my eyes were glued open for the entire video, and after about 10 seconds of jaw droppingness, I moved my pointer to the play button and gave myself another viewing.
The rendering looked very smooth. Gorgeous footage and cuts--I don't believe that they were too abrupt. And it's not just pure action--you included plenty of the emotion inherent in Spike's past with some of the other characters of Bebop. And I love the song, personally...it kicks you in the face, punches you in the gut, and grabs you by the neck to slam you into the wall.
I'll put up an official opinion with more actual comments later, but for now I just wanted to say this:
Damn. I feel like I'm watching a music video made by Mushroomhead. Seems like all the cuts that they would want, and all the angst and action. Damn. Damn nice.

It was very impressive. There were several points where i said "wow"outloud. The special effects worked very well and the editing syle was perfect for the song. ;D Dunno if I have the time this week (or two) to leave a review, but I'll put it on my list! College is taking all my time at the moment.

awsm. Believe me, doing those screens and the roto took forever. I mean i only roto spike for like 10 frames, but JEEZ, getting them too look clean and spiffy was a bitch. I had a bit of trouble cleaning up the screens for the images, so i had to get Koop in his infinite wisdom to gives those a clean, and Nesse threw me some ideas to add some realism (such as the bluish glow/tinge). The 2:12-2:22 region took literally 2 days of solid editing. I only took breaks to chat with Ileia, and listen to RDS Radio. Also, the text would have been much more boring had it not been for AtomX's various ideas.
Really, the video would have been much blander without their help : \
Oh yeh, and i got the idea for the text behind Spike from Disturbed's music video for "Remember".
