Getting a little bored this summer? Want to do more then just get drunk on the 4th before waiting for New Years to get drunk again? Well... I've been wanting to go camping lately since I haven't gone in many years. I'm not talking RV camping or tenting in someones backyard. I'm talking tenting in the woods, sleeping (essentially) on dirt, making a fire, wiping your butt with leaves, etc camping.
This isn't anything that requires a certain amount of people nor money either. There are free camp sites open, and for those who wish to, we can split the bill for a tent unless someone has one available. *wink wink* And honestly, since I'm not planning on hiking to different spots, we can just bring loads of blankets and pillows so no one has to buy a sleeping bag and what-not.
So who's interested in this at all? I don't care if it's only 2 of us or 12. If we go once or hundred times. I'd just like to get out into nature this year, away from screens and the public to just chillax. Go swimming if it's too hot, spray our selves head to toe with bug repellant, start fires to make delicious hot 'shmoes and chase raccons with sticks. Ahhh camping...
So please make a comment if j00 are interested. Going at least once would bring more to your summer this year. Face it fellas, years are passing us by faster then we can catch up with them, so let's take the time now to do all these adventurous and crazy things before it becomes too challenging.Mmm bacon...

I am very interested. I even have (I believe) a two-dome tent or at least a big tent. I might fit 8. Or three Jons. Whatever the exchange rate is.

Woah! Lot's more people then I thought are interested. Sweeeeeet! ;D
NOW! The important details we must discuss (for now) are WHERE and WHEN.
I believe we should figure out WHEN first, since where can be changed easier. As we are all aware, it's been FREAKING HOT CAKES BURNING BLAZES FIRYAAAAAAAAAAH outside recently, so planning next month (or even the month after) would be more pleasurable for us all. This also gives all of us time to take off of work. I'll assume weekends work best for everyone. So I'll list (and make a poll possibly) of each weekend(s) and you pick the ones best for you. Remember, we can go more then once if you are all willing! ^^
Listed from Friday to Sunday. Those marked on here are available for that time period.

So please list what dates run best for you! Faster we get done scheduling, faster we can get to... the NATURE. ADD IN*** As for THIS weekend and the 19-22, I am unsure. I know I will not be able to attend, but if some of you are and willing, then go for it! ^^[/font]

Alrighty well, seeing as how labor day is coming up, I will announce my plans for this weekend. On late Thursday night/Friday morning, I will be heading up to the camp grounds ( THIS ONE) to reserve a spot for us. If you are still planning on coming, please please PLEASE post here, send me a text or get a hold of me somehow. Please list what you're planning on bringing. Things like tents, blankets, toilet paper, food, chairs, untensils, cook-ware, etc. If anyone else is willing to head with me to the camp grounds late Thursday/early Friday, I would appriciate it. (Since the camp grounds are first come, first serve.) Other then all that, hope everyone is available to come. ^^
