It has started, making a costume for Daishocon. Movie Pyramid Head this time. And of course, it is being done in the cheapest, yet most dramatic Waffle way possible.

yeah, i'm gonna be really tall. boots/apron are done minus the paint here. helmet is just the base mock up right now. need to finalize the shape, get it stabilized, and start putting the clean layer over it.

cut out the visor holes and added extra reinforcement to compensate for the missing chunks. tore apart my old helmet to make the visor for the new one. ah the cycle of life.

Sweeeet, nice! (Ooooh, I guess my inaccurate PH drawing from long ago works with the movie version after all. Yay for not needing to edit that. ^_^;; )
Looks like it'll be tough to see though, with that corner now front and center. You sure it's ok with it being so thick?

the sticky outy parts are just temporarily taped in place. they'll be painted separately so that i don't over paint parts trying to get into the little cracks. the glued on once everything is dry.
